At TripByBid, we strive to ensure clarity regarding cancellations and refunds. Please note that specific cancellation policies are determined by the individual travel providers (airlines, hotels, etc.) and the travel agent managing your booking.

1. General Cancellation Policy

The ability to cancel a booking and receive a refund depends on the specific terms and conditions attached to your purchased ticket or reservation. Before confirming a booking, please review the specific cancellation rules provided in the bid.

2. Non-Refundable Bookings

Many promotional or discounted fares found through our platform may be non-refundable. If a booking is marked as "Non-Refundable," you will not be eligible for a refund upon cancellation, though you may sometimes receive a travel credit minus applicable fees, subject to airline/hotel policies.

3. Processing Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund:

  • You must initiate the cancellation request through your dashboard or by contacting your agent directly.
  • Refund processing times vary by provider but typically take 7-14 business days to appear on your original payment method.
  • TripByBid service fees (if applicable) are generally non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to our error.

4. Agent-Specific Policies

Travel agents using our platform may have their own administrative fees for processing cancellations or changes. These fees should be clearly disclosed in the bid details before you accept.

5. Force Majeure

In events of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions), refund eligibility will be subject to the waivers and policies issued by the travel providers and relevant laws.
